Conference Services Director

Vivian Lee

Vivian Lee is a senior from Queens, New York, majoring in Hotel Administration at the Nolan School and pursuing a concentration in Analytics. Vivian got her first taste in hospitality working at her family's liquor store and watching her parents learn two languages just to converse with customers better. She quickly learned how life is service and hospitality can go a long way in changing a guest's experience.

Outside of HEC, Vivian is a front of house course assistant for Restaurant Management and a Meetings and Events Server at the Statler Hotel. She is also a mentor for the Cornell Chinese Student Association. This summer, she worked at the Javits Center as a Guest Experience Intern. In the future she hopes to be involved in event planning and human resources. In her free time, Vivian enjoys silly crafts, collecting hobbies, and going on spontaneous side quests with her friends.

Vivian first joined Hotel Ezra Cornell as a Conference Services Manager for HEC 100 and returned to the Conference Services department as an Assistant Director for HEC 101. She quickly realized how important the department is, in both logistics and safety. Now as Conference Services Director, she is excited to continue supporting the F&B pod and helping curate creative floorplans with her team.

This year for HEC 102, Vivian hopes to spread her passion for Conference Services by showing how creative and fun the designing process can be for making floor plans. She plans on reviewing safety cues and the small details that can make or break an event space for a guest, making sure the guests feel comfortable. Overall, she is looking forward to making HEC 102, the best ever!
