Teddy Andres
Teddy Andres, born and raised in New York City, is a senior in the Hotel School studying Hotel Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Teddy is interested in the intersection between innovation and business relationships. Teddy's path was forged by her desire to learn the fundamentals of business through the lens of hospitality, while contributing to the world at large.
Teddy began her involvement in Hotel Ezra Cornell (HEC) working as a Brand Manager on the first ever HEC Communications team for HEC 99. Building on this role, Teddy served as a Communications Assistant Director for HEC 100, and a Senior Advisor for HEC 101. Teddy hopes to bring her communications experience and love of giving back into her role as Philanthropy Director. Her goal is to spread awareness and garner excitement for HEC's philanthropy work, while bringing about meaningful change.
Outside of HEC, Teddy has had a number of roles that have shaped her foundation in brand management and hospitality. Previously, she was an events intern for Fanatics, the largest licensed seller of official fan gear for professional sports teams, where she helped coordinate branding and marketing events and facilitated site operations for events servicing 500+ VIP attendees. Last summer, she worked as an investments intern at Branded Hospitality, an early stage Venture Capital and media firm focused in the hospitality industry, where she sourced prospective deals, analyzed financial statements and conducted competitive benchmarking to inform diligence and strategy recommendations. On campus, she is a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Board, a Finance and Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series CA, a Hotel Student Mentorship Program mentor and a member of the Cornell Entrepreneurship Club and the Advertising Team of the Cornell Daily Sun. This summer, Teddy is interning at Morgan Stanley in New York City as a Marketing Summer Analyst.
