Katie White is a junior in the Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration from Stow, Massachusetts. Katie has been passionate about the hospitality industry from a young age, helping her family plan vacations and creating plans for the resort she dreamed of managing when she was older. Her passion for the industry continued to grow through her various positions in hotel operations, including working as a front desk agent, spa consultant, and more. Katie has developed an interest in hotel development and is excited to continue expanding her knowledge in this sector.

For HEC 97, Katie served as a food and beverage service manager, specifically helping to execute the buffet breakfasts and the Celebration Dinner. She is excited to be part of the Philanthropy department for HEC 98 as she has had a strong passion for giving back since participating heavily in community service in high school. Katie is looking forward to finding unique and fun ways for students, HEC members, and HEC attendees to make a difference leading up to and during the conference. 

Outside of HEC, Katie is the Director of Alumni Affairs for CHS, an associate for Cornell Real Estate Consulting, and the lead teaching assistant for Cornell’s hotel operations course. She is also an ambassador for the Nolan Hotel School Admissions and served as the Director of Finance for Kappa Delta Sorority. In her free time, she loves doing gymnastics and spending time at the beach!
