Jonathan is a senior in the Hotel School from New York City. He is minoring in real estate and finds both the financial and management sides of the hospitality industry fascinating. He has pursued this interest through the Hotel School’s real estate curriculum, which focuses primarily on the lodging industry. This summer, he worked in hotel asset management, allowing him to gain a deeper understanding of how to operate and optimize a hotel from a finance and management perspective.

Jonathan first became involved with the organization during HEC 97, where he was the Assistant Director of Finance on the Finance and Procurement team, assisting with creating the budget and procurement logistics before the conference. He looks forward to building on that experience as the Procurement Director for HEC 98, where he will ensure his fellow board members have everything they need to make this year the best HEC yet.

Outside of HEC, Jonathan is a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He also is a teaching assistant for courses in the Hotel School. He was a member of Cornell University’s club golf team and spends much of his free time on Cornell University’s golf course.
