Evan DeVirgilio is a junior in the Hotel School minoring in Real Estate. Hailing from Short Hills, New Jersey, he found his passion for hospitality by visiting Walt Disney World with his family as a child. Inspired by the passion and dedication Disney has consistently shown to make his family’s experiences memorable, he has made it his goal to give back the same magic he experienced as a child.

Previously, Evan served as a Guest Experience Manager for HEC 96, where he enjoyed connecting with guests, serving as their point of contact and providing any assistance needed. He built upon those skills last year during HEC 97, where he served as Guest Experience Assistant Director, developing his leadership skills and helping facilitate a well-run and enjoyable in-person conference. This year as Director of Rooms and Guest Experience, Evan looks forward to building upon everything he has learned and hopes to make an impact by providing the most memorable and enjoyable guest experience possible for HEC 98.

Outside of HEC, Evan is involved in the Hotel Leadership Development Program through his work as a server at The Regent Lounge. He is a part of Cornell Real Estate Club and is on the Cornell Club Baseball team. In addition to extracurriculars, Evan loves sports, watching movies, and learning about different parts of the world.
