Emily is a senior in the Hotel School from Edgartown, Massachusetts. She is concentrating in General Finance because she is passionate about a career in finance in the hospitality industry. She is looking forward to combining the service-oriented perspective of a degree in Hotel Administration with an analytical approach to corporate finance.

Emily spent her junior year as an Assistant Director for Finance and Procurement. This year, she is excited to work as the Donor Relations Director so that she can combine her experience in receiving and budgeting with the outward-facing role of working with alumni and businesses to support Hotel Ezra Cornell. She is looking forward to working with each of the directors to help them budget and access the resources and support that their departments need.

Outside of HEC, Emily is a cadet in the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), where she is training to commission as a Second Lieutenant upon graduation. She is the Lead Teaching Assistant (TA) for Finance and the Co-Lead TA for the Hotel School sophomore year culinary course. Additionally, Emily has spent time as a volunteer firefighter for the Cayuga Heights Fire Department, and she is part of the Forté Foundation, a women’s business organization.
