Kristen McNamara
Kristen is an Executive Director and Banker in the Chicago office of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank and serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Central Region Emerging Family Leaders conferences. In her Banker role, Kristen works closely with ultra-high net
worth clients and family offices to provide strategic wealth management advice across investment management, tax and estate planning, philanthropy, credit and specialty wealth advisory services. As a champion for next generation engagement, Kristen is a passionate educator of the rising generation (ages 20 to 40) of Private Bank clients. Kristen and her team take a holistic approach to delivering advice across all members of families, family offices, and philanthropic organizations, with the ultimate goal of building, preserving, and growing wealth, as well as educating the next generation of stakeholders.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan's Private Bank eleven years ago in 2013, Kristen's work experience was in hospitality real estate and development, and she has worked for Goldman Sachs (New York City) and the Financial Times (London). Kristen earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Economics, and her B.S. in Hospitality and Real Estate from Cornell University. She is a frequent guest speaker on-campus at Cornell University's SC Johnson College of Business and is actively involved in leading J.P. Morgan's recruitment efforts and in mentoring the firm's undergraduate and graduate-level talented new hires. An avid international traveler, Kristen sits on the Board of the Cambodia-based non-profit EGBOK Mission and enjoys exploring new destinations with her husband and three-year old son.
