Kathryn Poschmann

Kathryn Poschmann is a Junior in the Hotel School from Long Island, NY. She is concentrating in Services Marketing with a minor in Human Development. She got her start in hospitality when she read an article about HEC in high school. She was immediately hooked and now is so excited to serve on the board of HEC 100!

Kathryn started her HEC career as a Guest Amenity Manager in HEC 98, helping to curate innovative amenities for all the guests. Last year, in HEC 99, she was a Guest Amenity Assistant Director with the primary responsibility of helping run a team of guest amenity managers and to spearhead the design of these amenities. Her favorite part about HEC has always been the valuable connections she has made along the way; whether that be with fellow classmates or alumni. She is so excited to run this new department and is most looking forward to memorializing the 100th anniversary of HEC in a creative and exciting way.

Outside of HEC, Kathryn is the VP of Mentor Development for the Hotel Student Mentorship Program. Over the summer, she coaches a swim team and lifeguards. She loves to spend her free time with friends and family, going to the gym, swimming and spending as much time as possible on the slope!
