PRESS RELEASE: HAYLEY MARTIN SHA '22 SELECTED AS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE 97TH ANNUAL HOTEL EZRA CORNELL

ITHACA, NY (April 12, 2021) - Hotel Ezra Cornell (HEC) is pleased to announce Hayley Martin SHA '22 as Managing Director of The 97th Annual Hotel Ezra Cornell. As the Managing Director, Hayley will be responsible for overseeing the Board of Directors as well as serving as a liaison between all the internal and external groups HEC interacts with.

Hayley has been an integral part of HEC since she joined her freshman year. With prior involvement as the HEC 96 Rooms Director, HEC 95 Rooms Guest Experience Assistant Director, and HEC 94 People and Culture Manager, Hayley brings a wealth of experience to her role for HEC 97. Hayley looks forward to "HEC 97 after the past two years of innovation seeing what the future of what the conference will look like and the experience the board will create together."

A rising senior from Northvale, New Jersey, Hayley plans to pursue a career in corporate human resources. After interning for The W Washington D.C. as a front desk agent, her love for hospitality was amplified, where she worked to create memorable experiences for guests in her people-centric role. This summer, Hayley is looking forward to interning with Hilton Hotels and Resorts as a Business Development Intern.

"Her passion and enthusiasm for HEC and the Hotel School at large is truly unparalleled, as she continues on the HEC tradition and helps to lead the Hotel School to its 100 year anniversary. I have no doubt that the future is bright under Hayley's leadership!"
