Lance Zeligson

Lance Zeligson is a senior in the Nolan School of Hotel Administration pursuing minors in Psychology, Moral Psychology, and Law & Society. From West Orange, New Jersey, he developed an interest in the hospitality industry through his passion for cooking at a young age. He has explored several areas of hospitality through restaurants, hotels, resorts, and cruises, and is eager to expand his knowledge of the industry. In previous summers, he interned at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and Royal Caribbean Group, and in the future, Lance looks to pursue a career in the cruise line industry.

Outside of Hotel Ezra Cornell, Lance serves as the President of Air + Sea Hospitality, a member of the Cornell Cuvee Blind Wine Tasting Society, and a course assistant for four Nolan School courses. He is also a Student Manager for the Office of Visitor Relations and a Meetings & Events Manager at The Statler Hotel through the Hotel Leadership Development Program. In his free time, Lance enjoys trying new food, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Lance began his experience with Hotel Ezra Cornell as a Food & Beverage Service Manager for HEC 99 and returned as a History Assistant Director and Bartender for HEC 100. Last year, he first joined the Board of Directors as Conference Services Director for HEC 101. Lance is excited to join his fifth department as Food & Beverage Director for HEC 102, and is eager to lead a team of passionate students and foster their leadership skills as they carry out the operations of the conference.

Through the Food & Beverage department, the team will ensure efficient collaboration and communication amongst the Beverage, Conference Services, Culinary, Design, and Food & Beverage Service departments to plan and execute all functions for conference weekend.
