Hotel Ezra Cornell (HEC), the Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration's annual student run hospitality conference, has announced its theme for the 100th Annual Hotel Ezra Cornell, taking place April 24-27, 2025. This year's theme is HECentennial. The inspiration for this theme is drawn from the impact of HEC over the past century and the continuing contribution of service excellence and innovation into the next century.

With this in mind, this year's conference aims to highlight the passion and dedication of service in the hospitality industry. Acknowledging the remarkable achievement of those before us and having the honor to create and shape our own legacy. HEC 100 Managing Director Sarah Newcomb '25 believes that "When coming up with the theme for such a momentous year, something that was top of mind was how grateful we are to be celebrating HEC this year. There have been 99 boards before ours that have paved the way and made it possible for us to inherit such an impactful organization. Ultimately, that is what is behind HECentennial  — the gratitude we have for our school, our alumni, but especially for this incredible experience. "

Hotel Ezra Cornell is a three-day student-run conference and a century-long tradition of the Nolan Hotel School, making it one of the oldest organizations at Cornell University. Students organize speakers, networking events, food and beverages, and workshops with the goal of connecting hospitality professionals, students, and alumni at the leading hospitality program in the United States. Students learn about all aspects of hospitality, event planning, operations and more through hands-on experience.

Registration for the conference opens on November 12th, 2024 at 8:00 AM. Attendees are invited to book their stay with The Statler Hotel, a Four Diamond Award-winning learning hotel, dedicated to providing the best service while educating a new generation of hospitality leaders. This year, the Statler Hotel HEC 100 Room Block is reserved for fully registered conference guests.
