Yolanda Rodríguez
Yolanda Rodríguez is a senior in the Nolan School pursuing a degree in Hotel Administration with a concentration in Managerial Leadership with a minor in Law & Society. Growing up in the beautiful beachside town of Dorado, Puerto Rico, her passion for hospitality bloomed through her consistent involvement in service and love for bringing joy to those around her.
Yolanda joined Hotel Ezra Cornell as a People and Culture Manager for HEC 97 her freshman year. As a sophomore, she served as the Guest Amenity Assistant Director, developing leadership skills within the Rooms and Guest Experience Team and helping curate sustainable one-of-a-kind amenities for their guests.Last year as Director of Rooms and Guest Experience, Yolanda focused on the details that make guest experiences memorable from pre-arrival to post-conference. Now, entering her fourth year in HEC she is happy to come back full circle where her journey in this organization began as the People & Culture Director for HEC 100. She is grateful for the wonderful HEC journey and plans to give back by making sure our HEC 100 team is confident and well-prepared for the year ahead.
Outside of HEC, Yolanda serves as the President for the Nolan School of Hotel Administration Ambassadors, a mentor for the Hotel Student Mentorship Program, and is a Co-Chair of the Dean's Student Advisory Board. In addition to extracurriculars, Yolanda loves rock music,watching basketball, baking sweet treats, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
