Will Aepelbacher
Will Aepelbacher is a junior in the Nolan School of Hotel Administration from Horseheads, NY. He got interested in the hospitality industry at age 15 when he got his first job at a local restaurant. Soon after this introduction, he realized the passion he had for cultivating hospitality experiences that help guests smile and has worked in many roles where he has gotten to do exactly that. In the future he hopes to draw on these early industry experiences and combine it with his Nolan education to foster meaningful relationships and improve organizations for the better.
Will joined Hotel Ezra Cornell as a Conference Services Manager for HEC 98, and then served as a Conference Services Assistant Director for HEC 99. He is very excited to continue his journey in the same department and serve as the Conference Services Director for HEC 100. Will has loved watching so many passionate students get involved in HEC and is eager to watch this year's students spread HEC's values and make HEC 100 the best yet.
Outside of HEC, Will is in the Hospitality Leadership Development Program at the Statler Hotel where he works in the Meetings & Events Department and also serves as a course assistant within the Hotel School. Additionally, he is a Nolan Ambassador, a mentor for the Hotel Student Mentorship program, does layout design for Cornell's food magazine Creme de Cornell, and is on the Student Activities Funding Committee. In his free time, he loves to run, bake, and try new restaurants in Ithaca.
