Sebastian Matte is a junior at the Hotel School from St. Paul, Minnesota. Having worked at a hotel in high school, he found a passion for service and the hospitality industry from a young age. In his time at the Hotel School, he has been able to pursue this passion further, and intends on going into finance in the entertainment industry.

Sebastian first joined the organization two years ago as a Programs Manager for HEC 97, helping to coordinate different workshops and events. Last year, he served as an Assistant Programs Director for HEC 98, facilitating the management and conceptualization of overall programing. Now, as the Programs Director of HEC 99, Sebastian aims to continue this passion and make it the most memorable yet, via engaging, exciting and honest programming.

Outside of HEC, Sebastian serves as an ambassador for the Hotel School. He is also a member of International Business Consulting, the Delta Chi Fraternity, and the all-male a cappella group Last Call. In his free time he enjoys following sports, recording music, and working out.
