Sarah Schiffgens is a senior at the Nolan School of Hotel Administration hailing from Bethesda, Maryland. She is pursuing a minor in Communications and is interested in opportunities within Human Resources and Marketing. 

Sarah first began her HEC journey as a People & Culture Manager during her freshman year. She then served as a Content Marketing Manager for HEC 97 and as the People & Culture Assistant Director for HEC 98. Sarah is eager to build upon her previous experiences with HEC to foster an inviting and passionate culture throughout the organization.Her lifelong affinity for promoting organizational development and personal growth also makes her extremely excited to lead the People & Culture team for HEC 99.

Outside of her involvement in HEC, Sarah is the President of Cornell’s premier all-female a cappella group, The Touchtones. She also tutors foreign professionals in English through Ringle, a virtual language-learning platform. This summer, Sarah is interning at the Kraft Heinz Company in their Performance Function.
