Mia Federico

Mia Federico is a senior in the Hotel School from Bedford, Massachusetts pursuing a minor in Real Estate and Information Science. She has interned with BRE Hotels and Resorts as a financial planning and analysis summer intern. However, her passion for hospitality began at age 14 through her first job as a busser in her favorite breakfast restaurant, and she has been working in the restaurant industry ever since. Through the Hotel Leadership Development Program, Mia worked her way up to being a Student Manager at the Taverna Banfi in the Statler Hotel.

Mia joined Hotel Ezra Cornell her freshman year as a Digital Innovations Manager on the Programs and Innovations Team for HEC 96. The following year, she transitioned to the Food and Beverage Service team as an Assistant Director. Mia is thrilled to be the Philanthropy Director for HEC 99. Philanthropy and service have always been close to her heart, and she is excited to share her passion with the entire conference.

Outside of HEC, Mia is the Vice President of Community Relations for her sorority Pi Beta Phi and is the Treasurer for the Food and Beverage Society. In previous years at the Hotel School, she served as the Director of Events for the Cornell Hotel Society, Collegiate Chapter, and has been a Course Assistant for four Hotel School classes. In her free time, she enjoys reading, golf, and travel.
