Megan Lindsey
Megan is a junior at the Hotel School pursuing a beverage concentration, specifically within luxury food & beverage operations. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, she has always loved experimenting in the kitchen and bringing her unique creativity to cocktails and wine pairings. Megan was drawn to the hospitality industry by the genuine connections made by hosting friends and the care that goes into each little detail of creating memorable experiences. After spending a summer studying in Paris and the next summer as a food & beverage intern at the Amangiri Resort in Utah, Megan is passionate about broadening her knowledge and creativity through travel and intentional moments of hospitality!
Megan knew that HEC was something that she wanted to be involved in when coming to Cornell, and it quickly became one of her most cherished passion projects. Megan served as a Lead Bartender for HEC 97 and took on the role of Assistant Beverage Director for HEC 98. Now as Beverage Director for HEC 99, Megan is looking forward to creating a beverage program inspired by innovation in the industry and continuing the tradition of connection and creativity for everyone involved!
Outside of HEC, Megan serves on the board of the Cornell Hotel Society as the Director of Events. She is also a Course Assistant for Introduction to Wines and Restaurant Management. She is a member of the Cornell Food & Beverage Society and part of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She also continues to gain operational experience by working as a Team Coordinator for Meetings & Events at the Statler Hotel. In her free time, Megan enjoys hosting dinner parties, hiking and exploring the Finger Lakes area, and visiting new restaurants and wineries!
