Kenny Chung is a senior in the Hotel School from Irvine, California. Prior to transferring to the Hotel School, Kenny found his passion for hospitality while working in restaurants and coaching at a local golf course. Through handcrafting unique experiences and developing relationships, Kenny ultimately found his niche. Kenny plans on attending law school in pursuance of a career in the hospitality industry.
During his junior year, Kenny joined HEC 96 as the Philanthropy Assistant Director where he helped to plan and execute HEC's first virtual silent auction. As HEC 97's Philanthropy and Donor Relations Director, Kenny is excited to lead two innovative teams that will demonstrate how HEC 97 embodies the Hotel School's commitment to service and social good. Kenny looks forward to making HEC 97 the "best ever!"
Outside of HEC, Kenny is involved in many of Cornell's student and professional organizations. At the Hotel School, Kenny works as a General Consultant at the Communication Center and serves as the Treasurer for the Club Management Association of America. Outside of the Hotel School, Kenny is the Director of Member Development for Cornell's Consult Your Community and an active brother in the national service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. In his free time, Kenny enjoys researching the latest trends in Golf and cooking!
