Hayley is a senior in the School of Hotel Administration from Northvale, New Jersey. She is pursuing a concentration in human resources and hopes to have a career in HR or potentially law in the future. Hayley found her passion for hospitality after joining a business club in high school and competing in the hospitality division. She has always loved traveling, planning trips and learning about the different places she has traveled to and continues to explore her passion for the hospitality industry.
Hayley started her involvement with HEC freshman year as a Human Resources Manager. She then moved into the Rooms team sophomore year as the Rooms Assistant Director of Guest Experience before moving into the Rooms Director role for HEC 96. Hayley is honored to serve as the HEC 97 Managing Director. As a freshman she helped the HR team come up with a system for internal feedback. On the Rooms team, she helped organize guest information, created networking experiences, and helped to create the database for past registrations. This year, as Managing Director, she hopes to once again create a great experience for guests before, during, and after the conference. She looks forward to welcoming guests back to Ithaca and The Statler after two years of having a virtual conference.
Outside of HEC Hayley is a Guest Service Agent at The Statler Hotel and is a Cornell Ambassador. She is also a photographer for The 180, currently working on Volume V. Over her summers at Cornell, she has interned as a Front Desk agent at The W Hotel in Washington D.C. and this past summer interned at Hilton as a Business Development intern. Her interests include photography, reading, and travel.
